Lori Markham has been appointed President and CEO of Midwest Transplant Network (MTN). A nearly 30-year MTN veteran, she most recently served as Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer, overseeing donor care, surgical recovery, aviation operations, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement across the organization’s multi-state service area. She is now responsible for executive leadership and promoting organ and tissue donation.
A nationally recognized leader in organ and tissue donation, Markham currently chairs the OPTN Organ Procurement Organization Committee and serves on several national transplant and donation leadership groups. She joined MTN in 1996 as an Organ Procurement Transplant Coordinator and has held numerous clinical leadership roles throughout her tenure. Markham holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Rockhurst University and Research College of Nursing.
