Seattle Children’s has appointed Natalie Pageler, MD, as senior vice president and chief information officer. A board-certified pediatrician, pediatric intensivist, and clinical informaticist, Dr. Pageler brings more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning clinical care, academic medicine, and healthcare technology.
Previously, she served at Stanford Children’s Health and Stanford University School of Medicine as division chief of Clinical Informatics, associate dean of Maternal Child Health, and clinical professor of Pediatrics, following a decade as chief medical information officer. Dr. Pageler has led innovations in digital health, clinical decision support, patient engagement, and healthcare equity, including founding Stanford Children’s Digital Health and Translational Data Science Programs and co-founding the nation’s first ACGME-accredited clinical informatics fellowship.
At Seattle Children’s, she will lead enterprise digital strategy and IT operations in support of patient care, research, and innovation.
