Dr. Francis Sun, DVM, DACLAM, MBA, has been appointed Associate Vice President, Assistant Dean, and Director of Animal Resources at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
A leader in comparative medicine and research administration, Sun brings extensive experience overseeing laboratory animal programs and supporting biomedical research. He previously held leadership positions at Washington University in St. Louis, Duke University Medical Center, and the University of Kansas Medical Center.
A diplomate of the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine, he earned his DVM from North Carolina State University and an MBA from East Carolina University.
In his current role he will oversee the Animal Resources Program and support Wake Forest’s research and animal welfare initiatives.
