Musa Pam has been named Associate Vice President of Facilities Management for the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Mr. Pam has extensive experience in leadership, collaboration, and communication. He is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and sustainability initiatives. Mr. Pam developed his expertise in higher education facilities by holding on-campus roles as well as serving as a consultant. This broad experience exposed him to best practices and helped him to gain a keen sense of metrics and financial acumen. With these skills, he is well prepared to assess, analyze, and lead strategic investments in facilities to improve the campus experience.
Mr. Pam comes to UNLV from Brown University, where he served as the director of operations, logistics, and support. At Brown, he oversaw 7.2 million square feet of university space on 146 acres including 260 buildings and 24,000 facilities management assets. He also worked collaboratively with planning, design, and construction team partners to support $100M in annual construction and infrastructure renewal projects.
Mr. Pam received two bachelor of science degrees from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, in marine engineering and facilities and plant engineering, and an MBA from Boston University. In addition, he is a Certified Energy Manager, Certified Plant Engineer, and Certified Healthcare Facility Manager.
