Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) has appointed Paul R. Haut, MD, as president. Haut brings extensive experience as a pediatric oncologist, associate professor, and former chief medical officer and chief operating officer at Riley Children’s Health in Indiana.
In his role, Haut focuses on education and programming, member experience, quality and patient safety, information technology, data analytics, and finance.
Haut previously spent 20 years at Riley Children’s Health, served as an associate professor at IU School of Medicine, and later founded PRHaut Leadership as a certified leadership coach.
Haut holds a political science degree from Brown University and a medical degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine, completing his fellowship in hematology and oncology at Children’s Memorial Hospital/Northwestern University.
