Larry Kaufman, FACHE, has joined Yankee Alliance as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Larry replaces outgoing President and CEO, Cathy Spinney, who announced her retirement this past summer. With a demonstrated history of creating patient-focused cultures for serving health systems, Larry is uniquely qualified to lead Yankee Alliance.
Kaufman most recently served as President and CEO of Trivergent Health Alliance MSO. Previously, Larry held various hospital administration and group purchasing organization leadership positions. He brings over 35 years of experience to Yankee Alliance and recognized expertise in the areas of labor and non-labor cost reduction, physician clinical integration, and the development of strategic initiatives, both operational and clinical, to reduce variation, cost and improve quality.
Kaufman earned a Master’s of Health Administration from Indiana University – Purdue University at Indianapolis and a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Notre Dame.
