Judette Louis, MD, MPH, has been named dean of the Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS), part of Old Dominion University.
Dr. Louis served as the James M. Ingram Professor and chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Florida’s Morsani College of Medicine, with a joint appointment in the School of Public Health.
Dr. Louis is a past president of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and a graduate of the Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) program. She earned her medical degree from MCP Hahnemann University (now Drexel University College of Medicine), her MPH from Johns Hopkins University, and completed her residency and fellowship training at Case Western Reserve University and Wayne State University, respectively.
