Academic medicine today is in a state of flux with organizations expanding and evolving to meet market needs while staying true to mission and operating within an increasingly restrictive and competitive environment. Ashley is known for her attention to detail, clear and consistent communication, and commitment to quality in all phases of the recruiting process. She believes in building trusting and lasting relationships with client organizations to help them address long-range leadership needs.
Prior to WittKieffer, Ashley was an Executive Talent Acquisition Coordinator at The Ohio State University, where she provided extensive recruitment support for the Office of Human Resources as well as human resources within the institution’s Wexner Medical Center. In this role, she partnered with senior leadership across the institution to assist with the execution of the executive search process. Among other responsibilities, she was the key point of contact for the university and medical center during each search. She also spent time as the Faculty Recruitment Coordinator for Wexner Medical Center in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Ashley began her career in healthcare at Mount Carmel Medical Group in Columbus, Ohio.
Ashley serves on her alma mater’s Alumni Association as Vice Chair, to assist with supporting University of Rio Grande’s mission to develop and maintain lifelong connections between the alumni body and the university. In this role, Ashley also has the opportunity to mentor current students with an interest in health care management.
