David Kim has been named Associate Vice Chancellor for Information Technology & Chief Information Officer at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. Kim had previously served as Vice President for Information Technology & CIO at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Kim served at Central Piedmont Community College since 2003, beginning as Executive Director & Associate CIO and was promoted to Vice President for Information Technology & CIO in 2013. He earned his MBA from LeTourneau University and Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from The King’s College. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the UWL campus for leading Information Technology Services.
