Cottage Health Appoints Ganesh Persad, MSBI, CHCIO, as Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Ganesh brings over two decades of experience in healthcare information management, with a strong background in digital transformation, clinical systems, and enterprise technology initiatives that enhance both patient and workforce experiences.

Prior to this role, he served as Corporate Director of Digital Patient Experience and Transformation at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta. There, he led a pioneering integration of Epic MyChart Bedside TV with Virtual Nursing and contributed to Emory’s recognition for excellence in Epic implementation.

In his new role as CIO, Ganesh leads Cottage Health’s information systems strategy and execution. He will be responsible for driving technology transformation, participating in enterprise-wide strategic planning, and fostering a culture of innovation.

Ganesh holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Rutgers State University. He is a Certified Healthcare CIO, Certified Digital Health Executive, and a Fellow of HIMSS, with a career-long focus on advancing digital health and improving patient experience.
