Chioma Ndubuisi has joined Cal State Los Angeles as the University’s Associate Vice President for Information Technology Services and Chief Information Officer. Ndubuisi brings to the role a wealth of experience in leading strategic and transformative technology initiatives at public and private organizations across industries and a passion for building high-performing, inclusive, and diverse teams. Most recently, Ndubuisi was the chief technology officer for the Butte-Glenn Community College District in Chico, California.
“Chioma embodies Cal State LA’s ethos of engagement and service for the public good through mentorship and volunteer work,” said Joyce Williams, DBA, Vice President, Administration and Chief Financial Officer. “She served as a regional director for Women in Technology International and she recently led an effort to restore a home economics lab for Queens School Enugu, a girls’ high school in Nigeria, West Africa, through her involvement with the school’s alumnae association.”
Chioma received her bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Cal State LA. She is a certified Project Management, Change Management, and Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt Practitioner.
