Cherodeep (Chero) Goswami has been named Chief Information and Digital Officer at Providence. Goswami served as system vice president and chief information and digital officer for the University of Wisconsin Health System (UW Health), where he lead strategic direction for IT, informatics, and digital activities. He previously held leadership roles at BJC Healthcare in St. Louis and has experience in finance, telecom, and transportation industries. Goswami received dual master’s degrees from Webster University and is an alumnus of Columbia University, New York.

Goswami is responsible for IS strategy and operations, including cybersecurity, deployment of artificial intelligence, and digital platform management. He will also lead key strategic priorities to support physicians and clinicians, enhance operational rigor, and implement technology solutions to extend Providence’s Mission to more individuals, especially the poor and vulnerable.
