Loyola University New Orleans announced the appointment of Anthony E. Jones, M.Ed., as Vice President of Enrollment Management. With nearly three decades of experience in higher education leadership, Jones brings an innovative approach to enrollment and a deep commitment to increasing access for underrepresented and marginalized students.
In his most recent position, Jones served as Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Experience at Bethune-Cookman University, where he was instrumental in developing strategic plans that led to an increase in undergraduate applications and enrollment. Jones has also held roles at Howard University as Associate Provost/Assistant Vice-President of Enrollment Management and at DePauw University and Fisk University.
“Anthony’s exceptional track record and outstanding leadership skills make him the ideal choice to help guide our institution through the challenges and opportunities ahead,” said Loyola President Xavier Cole. “We are confident he will help steer our future enrollment strategies to drive growth and promote access to higher education.”
Jones earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Fisk University in 1994, a Master of Education with a focus on Higher Education Administration from Vanderbilt University in 1999 and is set to receive a Doctorate of Education in Higher Education Leadership & Policy from Florida State University in 2025.
