An experienced clinician and executive recruiter, Natalie Derry is Managing Partner and Practice Leader, Global Emerging Sciences, at WittKieffer, and additionally has oversight of operations in the United Kingdom and mainland Europe. Natalie is a tireless advocate for her clients in the marketplace, identifying executives who align with organizations’ cultures and strategic needs. She is also respected by executive candidates who value her honest counsel regarding their careers.

Natalie supports organizations at the forefront of foundational scientific research and the translation of such research into therapeutic realities. She partners with a range of UK and international clients in academia, research centers, technology transfer, and healthcare. Natalie leads executive recruitments for many Russell Group public research universities in the UK as well as leading higher education institutions based in the United States, Europe, and Asia-Pacific as they address leadership needs locally and at campuses across the globe. She also supports NHS trust clients in the United Kingdom as well as leading hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, and medical research/life sciences institutes in numerous global locations.

Natalie completed her Bachelor of Nursing degree in 1994 and started her professional life as a general surgical nurse in Scotland. Subsequent roles in Australia and the United Kingdom included neurosciences nursing at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London. She returned to the United Kingdom in 2006 and successfully ran her own healthcare recruitment business before entering executive search in 2009.
