Dr. Tani Castañeda has joined Teachers College at Columbia University as the new Associate Vice President and Chief Enrollment Officer. She will lead TC’s marketing and recruitment strategy as well as continuing student enrollment services, by overseeing the offices of Admission and New Student Enrollment, Financial Aid Operations, the Office of the Registrar, Enrollment Marketing, and Strategic Enrollment Communications and Research.
Castañeda comes to Teachers College with a wealth of experience, bringing an extensive background in enrollment management, outstanding leadership skills and experience, and an impressive set of accomplishments in creating data-driven enrollment strategies and cultivating productive, collaborative partnerships to achieve the institution’s enrollment goals.
Over the last 11 years, as Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management at Rutgers University, she strategically managed recruitment, marketing, communications, admissions, enrollment research/analytics, and led successful collaborations between the enrollment management division and other university partners.
Most notably, her proven track record of outstanding tactical leadership will be instrumental at Teachers College.
