Nicklaus Children’s Health System has added three impressive new executives in 2020.
Perry Ann Reed joined Nicklaus Children’s Health System as senior vice president and chief operating officer of the health system, and president of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. In this role, she oversees operations of the flagship 309-bed pediatric specialty hospital. Reed brings to the position more than 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership. Most recently, she served as executive director of WakeMed Children’s Hospital & Women’s Services in Raleigh, NC. Reed is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, holds a master’s degree in healthcare management from the University of Texas, a master’s in bioethics from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University.

David Seo, M.D., joined Nicklaus Children’s Health System as vice president and chief information officer. In this role, he oversees information technology (IT) and communication services that align with the strategic initiatives and needs of the health system. Dr. Seo is a graduate of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where he earned his bachelor’s degree and his medical degree. He completed his residency and internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, and then went on to pursue a fellowship in cardiology at Duke University Medical Center.

Dawn Javersack joined Nicklaus Children’s Health System as senior vice president and chief financial officer. In this role, she oversees financial and capital planning, managed care, accounting, payroll, and property accounting for the health system. Javersack has more than 25 years of financial leadership experience in non-profit hospitals and health systems, most recently serving as chief financial officer of Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Prior to that, she held progressive leadership positions in five other hospitals around the country. Javersack earned both bachelor and master’s degrees in business administration from West Virginia University.
