The National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) – the premier member organization serving and advocating for Black executives in the healthcare industry – announced the hire of Lisa Maria Mallory, Ph.D., as the organization’s permanent Executive Director (ED). Dr. Mallory’s wealth of private, nonprofit, and public sector leadership experience will provide a valued addition to NAHSE’s strategic evolution into an even more visible, impactful organization on the national healthcare stage.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, Dr. Mallory will serve as the chief spokesperson and have the overall responsibility for NAHSE’s strategic, programmatic, and administrative objectives and performance.
Dr. Mallory’s selection came after a comprehensive nationwide search in collaboration with global executive search firm WittKieffer. She currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA). Her primary responsibilities include advocating for the trade association’s members, engaging in public policy discourse and leading reform, and expanding major economic development opportunities in Washington, D.C. Further, she helps design and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and initiatives to increase the real estate development industry opportunities for underrepresented populations.
