Gareth Griffin will be joining the Alumni Engagement and Development team of Duke University as its Assistant Vice President for Business Intelligence and Decision Support. Griffin comes to Duke from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he served as the Senior Director of Prospect Development. In addition to this role at MIT, Griffin has provided leadership in prospect research, prospect management, and analytics at Santa Clara University, University of California at Berkeley, and Clemson University.

In addition to his tremendous experience in higher education, Griffin has played leadership roles within many professional organizations such as Apra, where he serves as a Trustee of the Apra Foundation, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Massachusetts. He is a respected leader in the business intelligence space.
