Kasey Urquídez, EdD, brings more than three decades of visionary leadership in enrollment management and student success to her role as Senior Advisor in WittKieffer’s Leadership Advisory practice. Working with enrollment leaders across higher education, her areas of expertise include succession planning, leadership development, new leader transitioning, and leadership team alignment. She also directly advises senior leaders on challenges ranging from strategy and finance to communication and culture development.
Kasey most recently served as Vice President for Enrollment Management and Dean of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Arizona, where she led a comprehensive portfolio that included admissions, scholarships and financial aid, new student services and orientation, parent and family programs, and access, engagement, and opportunity initiatives. She served the University for more than 30 years in various enrollment, admissions, student recruitment, financial aid and student affairs capacities. She currently serves as a Senior Director at ACT for Higher Education where she executes higher education outreach and engagement strategies for the postsecondary education community.
In addition, she remains deeply engaged in national and regional efforts to advance college access and success. She serves as a Board Director for both the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the Coalition for College. In addition, she has served as the Vice Chair and Trustee for the Women’s Foundation for the State of Arizona and as an Advisory Board Member for Southern Arizona’s Hispanic Scholarship Fund. Her previous leadership roles include serving as a Trustee for the College Board, Commissioner for the Arizona Commission on Postsecondary Education, and Executive Board Member for Arizona Women in Higher Education. She has been recognized with numerous honors, including Tucson’s “40 Under 40,” a University of Arizona Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award, induction into the Greek Hall of Fame by Order of Omega, and the Outstanding Community College/University Advocate Award from the Metropolitan Education Commission.
In her personal time, Kasey enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
