Cook Children's, one of the nation's largest and fastest-growing independent pediatric health systems, seeks an experienced executive to serve as its next Executive Vice President, System Finance. Cook Children's is a $3.2 billion not-for-profit system that includes a nationally recognized medical center (Cook Children's Medical Center) with 460 beds, physician network, surgery center, home health agency, health plan, health services company, and foundation. Their finances are exceptionally strong and they continue to make meaningful investments in the fast-growing Fort Worth market, including the start of a new heart transplant program and a $1.3 billion facilities expansion at the main campus, which is currently underway. The newest Prosper campus with 69 licensed beds is expanding as well, with trauma services and a new NICU to build out additional capabilities in that region. Reporting to the President and CEO, the EVP will directly oversee System Finance, Construction & Real Estate, the Cook Children's Health Plan, Institutional Investments, and Revenue Cycle. This individual will demonstrate superior leadership and embody the characteristics of what makes Cook Children's such a special place to work. Having an open mind, being intellectually curious, and seeking ways to improve and innovate will be critical to success. Ideal candidates will be seasoned leaders with pediatric healthcare experience who have at least ten years of senior-level finance experience in large, complex, high-performing systems.
