WittKieffer is proud to partner with Palo Alto University (PAU) to conduct the national search for their inaugural Vice President for Enrollment Management (VPEM).
PAU is a private, nonprofit university located in the heart of Silicon Valley. For five decades, the University has focused on addressing pressing and emerging issues in behavioral science, preparing practitioners and scholars to meet the needs of a rapidly changing society. PAU offers undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, master’s, bachelor's completion, and professional programs delivered through innovative online, hybrid, and residential modalities. The University enrolls approximately 1,200 graduate students and a small cohort of undergraduate students, supported by 51 faculty and 112 staff, operates a $41 million budget across its Palo Alto and Mountain View campuses.
Reporting directly to the President and serving as a member of the President’s Cabinet, the VPEM will lead a newly established Division of Enrollment Management that brings together five critical and highly collaborative units: Admissions, Degree Program Marketing, Financial Aid, the Registrar, and Student Success. The Vice President will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive enrollment strategy that leverages advanced analytics, digital systems, cutting-edge marketing practices, and financial aid optimization to strengthen recruitment, retention, and completion outcomes focusing on graduate and professional studies.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a seasoned enrollment and student success leader with a deep understanding of graduate and professional education, strong analytical and financial acumen, and a demonstrated ability to leverage data, technology, and market intelligence to drive results. The successful candidate will bring a forward-looking perspective on enrollment management, including expertise in enrollment analytics, pricing and financial aid strategy, digital recruitment, and student lifecycle management. A Master's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
This is a full time in-person role located on the Palo Alto campus in Northern California. Hybrid and remote arrangements are not possible and cannot be considered for this role.
