Main Line Health (MLH) seeks a progressive and experienced leader to serve as its next Chief Supply Chain Officer. This is an outstanding leadership opportunity for an individual with a demonstrated track record of modernizing supply chain within a clinically sophisticated organization to further elevate value within MLH.
The Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) will strategically lead the vision, direction, planning, and coordination of the supply chain program and operations across Main Line Health. This individual will be responsible for leading positive change and setting the tone of the department as a service organization; continuously seeking to understand, meet, and exceed customer needs through initiatives that support Main Line Health's clinical, operations, quality, and financial objectives. This executive will foster collaboration and establish strong relationships with clinical leaders, including physicians and nursing staff, as well as operational leadership across the health system. The CSCO will be responsible for external supplier relationships, developing strategic relationships to assure optimal value for Main Line Health. Lastly, they will actively assess and develop talent and leadership within Supply Chain, emphasizing accountability and performance.
The CSCO will have highly developed interpersonal qualities and skills, as well as a strategic mindset and strong leadership skills to enhance supply chain functions and support Main Line Health's mission. The CSCO will serve as a trusted strategic partner to the EVP and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CSCO will bring a combination of deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong leadership capabilities to build and lead high-performing teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and optimizing supply chain operations, including but not limited to contracting, logistics, and technology implementations within a complex health system. Candidates will preferably have a strong foundation of supply chain management experience in a health system, teaching hospital, or academic medical center, and fully embrace supply chain best practices. They must also demonstrate a personal style that facilitates communication, collaboration, and strong negotiation skills.
