Eisenhower Health seeks an Oncology Service Line Administrator to provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership for the development and growth of the oncology service line across both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role is responsible for directing the successful planning, implementation, and expansion of cancer services throughout the Coachella Valley and surrounding regions, with the goal of improving access to care, enhancing quality outcomes, and increasing volume and market share.
Key initiatives include the development and operationalization of an expanded oncology site in Palm Springs and the advancement of services in the East Valley, such as the implementation of TruBeam radiation therapy and the expansion of mammography services to support early detection and precision treatment.
This highly visible role operates within a matrix reporting structure due to its broad, system-wide scope. Working in close partnership with physician leaders, operations, nursing, and finance teams, the Oncology Service Line Administrator ensures that all programs are high‑quality, patient‑centered, financially sustainable, and aligned with Eisenhower Health’s mission and strategic priorities. Serving as the administrative liaison for oncology‑related activities, projects, and programs, the administrator maintains active communication with medical staff, interdepartmental leaders, and frontline teams to ensure coordinated, effective service delivery.
A core responsibility of the role will be to develop and execute comprehensive five‑year cancer services strategic plan. This includes conducting market analyses, volume projections, and service line performance evaluations to identify growth opportunities, address gaps in care, and respond to emerging trends in oncology. Success requires strong collaboration across clinical leadership, administration, finance, and philanthropy to ensure organization‑wide alignment and long‑term sustainability.
The Oncology Service Line Administrator also plays a critical role in external engagement and philanthropy, building and maintaining strong relationships with community leaders, referring physicians, and regional partners. In collaboration with the Eisenhower Health Foundation, the administrator actively supports fundraising initiatives that advance cancer programs, technology investments, and patient support services, regularly representing the organization at community and cancer‑related events and cultivating donor relationships.
This is an onsite role in the Coachella Valley, CA.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree and at least seven years of progressive leadership experience in a comprehensive oncology service line business with inpatient/outpatient oncology.
