Wolfson Children’s Hospital, seeks a visionary Vice President of Patient Care Services to advance pediatric clinical operations, nursing practice, quality, safety, and patient experience. A 281‑bed, specialty‑licensed children’s hospital within the Baptist Health system, Wolfson Children’s provides comprehensive care across an extensive network that includes pediatric intensive care, multiple NICUs, eight children’s emergency centers (including a Level I trauma program), and nine multispecialty outpatient centers serving North Florida and South Georgia. The hospital partners closely with Nemours Children’s Health, creating a fully integrated model that delivers world‑class inpatient, surgical, and subspecialty pediatric care.
The Vice President will guide both hospital‑specific and system‑level pediatric care delivery within a high‑performing, five‑time Magnet‑designated organization. This is not a turnaround role, but an opportunity to elevate an already strong culture—driving alignment across clinical leaders, strengthening engagement, advancing quality and outcomes, and ensuring responsible financial stewardship. The organization values long‑term leadership development, collaborative decision‑making, and accountability, with stable, tenured leadership teams committed to continuous progress and innovation.
The ideal candidate is an accomplished pediatric healthcare leader and licensed RN with executive‑level experience in a nationally recognized organization, and a proven ability to lead through influence and change. This leader will be a trusted mentor, outstanding communicator, and a national thought leader who is actively engaged in advancing pediatric health care through professional collaboration and industry involvement.
