David Ramcharan Named Chief Information Officer at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi introduced Dr. David Ramcharan as the university’s new Associate Vice President-Chief Information Officer. Dr. Ramcharan served eight years at Creighton University, most recently as the Assistant Vice President of Solutions Delivery in IT. Dr. Ramcharan holds a PhD, a master’s degree, and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida.

“I am happy to welcome Dr. Ramcharan to A&M-Corpus Christi. His years of experience in both the public and private sector will help build upon the many successes of IT,” said Ms. Jaclyn Mahlmann, Vice President for Finance and Administration. “Additionally, his experience will help ensure continued growth and innovation for our campus.”
