WittKieffer has announced Stephen Brengle as Managing Director, Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology, North America, in its global Life Sciences Practice.
Based in Philadelphia, Brengle will focus on the fast-growing pharmaceuticals and biotechnology segments. He will leverage his expertise to place CEOs, CFOs and other top C-suite leaders as well as functional roles in the areas of research, marketing, finance, manufacturing, commercialization, regulatory and clinical development, and more.

Prior to joining WittKieffer, Brengle served as a Consultant in the Life Sciences Practice at another major management consulting and retained executive search firm. During his tenure there, he served pharmaceutical, biotechnology, laboratory, medical device, regulatory and contract research/service organizations. Working with companies ranging from venture capital-backed start-ups to Fortune 100 corporations, he successfully recruited CEOs, Chief Medical Officers, CFOs, COOs and global senior executives across scientific, commercialization and operational functions.
Before that, Brengle served as a consultant with several global and boutique executive search firms, where he engaged in multiple assignments spanning the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. His cumulative experience reaches across the C-suite to functional roles such as regulatory, quality, safety, medical affairs, scientific research, marketing and manufacturing.
