WittKieffer welcomes Jamie Cumming-Wesley as a new Senior Partner on the firm’s Education team. Based in Edinburgh, Jamie will lead WittKieffer’s international practice in higher education, overseeing academic leadership recruiting in the UK and globally while advising institutions from all mission groups on Vice-Chancellor, board, and executive-level searches.
Jamie brings more than a decade of experience advising boards and chairs on top administrative hires, including Vice-Chancellor appointments at some of the most prestigious institutions in the UK. He will play a central role in expanding WittKieffer’s international presence in academia and helping the firm’s global clients with leadership recruitment and development. Prior to joining WittKieffer, Jamie led the Higher Education Practice at another leading global recruiting firm, helping the firm gain traction and develop significant market share in education, including with Russell Group institutions. Jamie has a Master’s of Studies in Musicology and Composition from the University of Oxford and a music degree from Durham University.
