Get in TouchSheldon Ng is a trained scientist and former strategy consultant who serves as Managing Director, Client Development in WittKieffer’s Life Sciences and Investor-Backed Healthcare team, focused on Interim Leadership in Life Sciences. Drawing on more than two decades of life sciences industry experience, strategic advisory expertise, and a relationship-driven approach, Sheldon helps organizations address critical business challenges and opportunities by identifying and securing interim and on-demand leaders who accelerate growth, transformation, and innovation.
Sheldon brings a unique combination of scientific depth, commercial strategy expertise, and industry relationships developed across biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology, and healthcare organizations. He partners with clients to identify leadership gaps, build capabilities, and navigate complex market dynamics at pivotal moments of growth and change.
Prior to joining WittKieffer, Sheldon held senior leadership roles across leading life sciences consulting and advisory firms. Most recently, he served as Vice President in the Life Sciences Practice at Charles River Associates (CRA), advising biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical technology organizations on strategic planning, market assessments, commercialization strategy, portfolio optimization, asset development, and global operations.
Previously, Sheldon was a Partner at LifeSciences Consultants and Navigant (now Guidehouse), and served as Vice President and Head of Strategy & Analytics at investment bank Locust Walk, where he built commercial strategy and analytics capabilities supporting growth-stage biotechnology companies. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Promidian and Health Advances and was an Engagement Manager at IMS Consulting Group, supporting global pharmaceutical clients across brand strategy, launch excellence, commercialization, and market development.
Before transitioning into consulting and advisory work, Sheldon conducted biotechnology and pharmaceutical research at Exelixis and Chiron (now Novartis). His scientific foundation includes peer-reviewed research published in The Journal of Neuroscience, reflecting his early commitment to advancing understanding of biological systems and translating scientific insights into meaningful healthcare innovation.
Today, Sheldon leverages this scientific foundation, industry perspective, and client-focused approach to help life sciences organizations secure the leadership talent required to advance innovation, growth, and patient impact.
