She executed executive searches for a range of PE- and venture-backed organizations, specializing in the recruitment of CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and other senior leaders critical to scaling high‑growth companies. Prior to that, she worked as a Healthcare and Life Sciences Market Analyst at another top search firm, where she provided market intelligence rooted in industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments—insights that helped guide clients’ leadership and investment decisions.
Earlier in her career, Melissa spent several years in clinical research at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and conducted academic research at the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Societies from Penn. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, experimenting with new recipes, and hiking with her husband and young son.
