With an extensive research background, he leads candidate identification, outreach, and assessment efforts – partnering closely with clients and their internal teams to deliver senior leadership talent that drives progress. His work includes candidate development, screening, and market mapping, as well as contributing to strategy sessions, client deliverables, and interview processes. Dayron is driven by the opportunity to support organizations impacting the quality of life.
Before joining WittKieffer, Dayron was a Research Associate for another leading global recruitment firm. He provided research and business intelligence for a range of executive searches in healthcare and the life sciences while helping to identify and implement innovative approaches and best practices across the organization. Prior to that, Dayron worked for the Florida Department of Health as a Biological Scientist, contributing to the state’s Covid-19 prevention efforts. Among his other experiences are a tenure with PeaceJam Southeast, organizing conferences aimed at youth advocacy, and Rethink Energy Florida, conducting social research and supporting legislative efforts on responsible energy policies. He also spent four months in Brazil conducting research on amphibians and the illegal animal trade.
Outside of work, Dayron brings the same curiosity and drive for discovery to his personal pursuits. He is an avid traveler who enjoys immersing himself in new cultures, exploring natural landscapes, and seeking out local cuisine. Whether snowboarding in the mountains or hiking remote trails, he values experiences that foster connection, perspective, and growth. He also has a deep appreciation for Cuban coffee, a nod to his cultural roots.
