The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be the architect of operational excellence across this enterprise. Reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer and partnering closely with clinical and academic leaders, the COO will oversee operations across multiple hospitals, specialty centers, and ambulatory sites within a $3+ billion health system. This leader will unify operations, optimize performance, and ensure that OU Health’s ambitious vision translates into measurable results through driving efficiency, quality, and affordability at scale.

The successful candidate will have vision, agility, and a passion for transforming healthcare at scale. Significant progressive and broad leadership experience within a large complex health system at a senior executive level is required. The incoming COO will possess exceptional operational leadership, relationship-building, and financial acumen. A graduate degree in business administration, health care administration, management, or related field is required. Candidates with clinical backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
