Major Gifts Officer(s)
Reporting to the Senior Major Gifts Officer and working closely with the CEO, Major Gifts Officers are responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of high-capacity donors and prospects. Officers will develop personalized strategies to secure five- and six-figure contributions aligned with UWMD’s community impact priorities. This is a highly collaborative role that works in close partnership with corporate fundraisers, volunteer leaders, and senior staff to deliver a best-in-class donor experience.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of progressive experience in individual giving, donor relations, or philanthropic advising. A proven track record of securing major gifts and building long-term relationships is essential.
Leadership Giving Officer
Reporting to the Senior Major Gifts Officer, the Leadership Giving Officer is responsible for growing and engaging UWMD’s pipeline of annual supporters—individuals giving between $1,000 and $9,999—through direct portfolio management and donor society programs, including Emerging Leaders, Teens United, and March Tocqueville Fellows. The role is focused on developing future major donors through meaningful engagement, compelling storytelling, and strategic stewardship.
Strong candidates will have experience in individual fundraising, volunteer engagement, or donor communications, along with a collaborative spirit and a deep commitment to equity and opportunity. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience are strongly preferred.
These are full-time, in-person roles based in Dallas, Texas. Candidates must be available to work onsite and meet regularly with donors across the region.
