Reporting to the SVP & Chief Medical Officer, this leader will play a pivotal role in strengthening quality, safety, and patient-centered care across a mission-driven regional health system.
Founded in 1867 by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth, St. Joseph’s Health is a nationally recognized Catholic healthcare network supported by more than 5,000 physicians, nurses, and care teams. With approximately $1.1 billion in net revenue, the system serves more than 1.5 million patients annually and is the largest employer in Passaic County. It is also one of New Jersey’s leading charity care providers and a prominent academic medical center.
The system delivers a full continuum of care, including the 650-bed St. Joseph’s University Medical Center—home to a Level II Trauma Center and a six-time Magnet® Award–winning nursing program—the 229-bed St. Joseph’s Wayne Medical Center, a state-designated children’s hospital, a cancer center, home care, hospice, the Totowa outpatient campus, and more than 100 physician and specialty practices through St. Joseph’s Health Medical Group.
The incoming VP will be a key member of the leadership team, advancing high reliability principles and driving performance improvement across the system. This executive will partner closely with operational and clinical leaders to strengthen quality outcomes, enhance patient safety, and elevate the overall experience of care.
The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise and at least five years of hospital-based leadership experience in quality and safety.
