Recently, Jupiter Medical Center has celebrated many significant growth and expansion milestones. On January 7, 2026, Jupiter Medical Center celebrated the grand opening of its new five-story, 92-bed patient care tower on its main campus along South Old Dixie Highway. Jupiter Medical Center announced a new alliance with Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), ranked No. 1 in orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report for 16 consecutive years, to expand access to the highest quality musculoskeletal care in South Florida. Additionally, in 2028, JMC will open a micro hospital at Avenir, a new 29-bed neighborhood hospital in Palm Beach Gardens, which will offer 24-hour emergency services, operating rooms, diagnostic laboratory, and imaging services.
Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer and collaborating closely with the Chief Operating Officer, the CAO will play a key role in advancing operational, financial, clinical, quality, and service excellence for the system. The CAO will catalyze operational excellence, ensuring that Jupitar Medical Center's operations are as exceptional as its clinical care; delivering efficiency, scalability, and sustainability while maintaining an unwavering commitment to patient experience and safety. The CAO role requires an operationally and strategically astute executive who will develop a strong partnership with key constituents and provide focused leadership resulting in robust operational performance, fiscal sustainability, clinical transformation, and growth across both campus and ambulatory settings. As the organization transitions toward a fully data-driven health system, the CAO will spearhead the design and implementation of robust operating dashboards that provide real time visibility into key performance indicators across all departments. Beyond reporting, the CAO will be a visionary who can architect a comprehensive performance management system that aligns departmental goals with their overarching strategic mission. By utilizing predictive modeling and rigorous benchmarking, the incoming CAO will ensure that every administrative decision – from patient throughput to supply chain management – is rooted in empirical evidence and drives continuous organizational improvement and accountability.
