The Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), located in Valhalla, New York, is seeking an experienced, collaborative finance leader to serve as its next Executive Vice President, Network Chief Financial Officer (EVP). Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the EVP will lead the overall management of accounting and finance functions, including general accounting, accounts payable, special projects, taxes, accounting, budgeting, control and reporting systems, financial analysis, payroll, and coordination of internal and external audits.
WMCHealth is a $3 billion 1,700-bed healthcare system with nine hospitals on seven campuses spanning approximately 6,200 square miles of the Hudson Valley. WMCHealth employs more than 13,000 people and has nearly 3,000 attending physicians. The network includes Level I adult and pediatric trauma centers, Level II and Level III trauma centers; the region’s only acute care children’s hospital, an academic medical center; several community hospitals; dozens of specialized institutes and centers, including Comprehensive and Primary Stroke Centers; skilled nursing facilities; homecare services and one of the largest mental health systems in New York State.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the EVP will be responsible for overseeing the entire WMCHealth Network and ensuring accurate and credible financial reporting on a timely basis, thereby supporting the financial management of WMCHealth's network hospitals. In addition, the EVP will ensure the organization's performance in developing, improving, and delivering cost-effective clinical care, while also achieving documented high-quality clinical outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished finance executive with strong leadership experience in a Healthcare Integrated Delivery System, preferably in an academic environment.

The salary range for the role is anticipated to be between $1,150,000-$1,211,000. Compensation arrangements are competitive and will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s experience and achievements, and responsibilities of this position.
