Heartland Whole Health Institute (HWHI) is dedicated to transforming health care, beginning in Northwest Arkansas and scaling to disrupt the national health crisis. HWHI advocates, educates, and guides the implementation of an innovative system, rooted in whole health and the realignment of financial incentives. The Institute’s 85,000-square-foot facility is located on the Crystal Bridges Campus for Art and Wellness, home to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, alongside other mission-aligned organizations whose work intersects across art, architecture, nature, education, and wellness.
The Director, Health and Wellness Integration leads the strategic activation of Heartland Whole Health Institute’s whole health and value-based care initiatives across health system partnerships, community-based pilots, and ecosystem collaborations, supporting HWHI’s efforts to improve quality, reduce cost, and expand access to health care in the Heartland, with a strong focus on the future Bentonville Health and Wellness Campus. This role serves as HWHI’s internal subject-matter expert on Whole Health principles and value-based care integration, ensuring those principles are reflected in health system partnerships, and related initiatives.
Anchored at HWHI, the Director operates in close partnership with regional and national health systems, the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, and arts and wellness organizations located on the Crystal Bridges Campus for Art and Wellness. Through these partnerships, the Director works to embed Whole Health principles across care delivery, education-to-practice pathways, and arts and wellness initiatives, translating insights from pilots, education, and community-based work into scalable care models, partnership strategies, and measurable outcomes that inform the design and development of future specialty and value-based services in Northwest Arkansas.
This role is integration-focused and influence-driven, advancing alignment and shared outcomes across organizations and initiatives through collaboration and strategic partnership.
Relocation to Bentonville, Arkansas is required.
