Chief Executive Officer
Philadelphia Fight Community Health Centers
Philadelphia, PA - United States
WittKieffer is honored to announce a CEO search we have launched with Philadelphia Fight Community Health Centers (FIGHT). With revenue of approximately $58 million, FIGHT is nationally recognized for its holistic approach to health and well-being. For over 30 years, FIGHT has made significant strides in the Philadelphia community, starting by leading the way in HIV/AIDS research, treatment, and prevention. They are a champion that advocates for health equity and access to care, providing vital healthcare services to underserved populations. Today, FIGHT is comprised of five health centers and has a workforce of over 250.
A key differentiator for FIGHT has been their 30-year effort to collect and share research. Educating others about best practices and successes puts FIGHT in a class of their own, with a library and invaluable data that has been instrumental in the fight against HIV/AIDS. With the upcoming retirement of FIGHT’s founder, Jane Shull, the board has launched a national search to recruit a CEO with a deep commitment to providing high-quality, comprehensive health care and safety net services to the most vulnerable and underserved populations.
The new CEO will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and vision of FIGHT’s next chapter. Collaborating with the Board and senior leadership, the CEO will develop FIGHT’s strategic plan, ensuring the achievement of its mission and long-term growth and sustainability. Key responsibilities will include identifying opportunities to enhance and stabilize financial operations, and overseeing program development while fostering a culture of innovation, service, research, and inclusivity among the staff.
The successful candidate must have a minimum 10 years of progressive senior-level management in healthcare, be knowledgeable in healthcare finance, public health, and community-based services, with a strong passion for the mission. The CEO must have proven ability as the primary spokesperson, representing the organization with gravitas and comfort. This leader must have a community engagement focus, be approachable to all stakeholders, and have a track record of successfully building relationships with and advocating on behalf of their organization with a wide range of stakeholders.
