Wellstar Health is seeking a passionate, creative, and inspiring nurse leader to serve as their next Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of Wellstar Paulding Medical Center in Hiram, GA.
Located approximately 25 minutes Northwest of the Atlanta metro area, Wellstar Paulding Medical Center (Paulding) is part of the largest, most integrated not-for-profit healthcare systems in Georgia, and is frequently recognized for its commitment to providing world-class healthcare and excellent patient service. Wellstar Paulding Medical Center is a 112-bed community hospital and level IV Trauma Center. Featuring an inclusive culture, Paulding has a dedicated team of approximately 1,300 team members including full time, part time and PRN.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Hospital President, the CNO will be responsible for all clinical areas of nursing for Wellstar Paulding Medical Center including strategic planning, integration of patient services practices, financial management, quality practices, policies, and procedures. Moreover, the CNO will nurture a high-performing nursing team dedicated to service excellence and continuous enhancement.
The ideal candidate will be a visible and engaging leader with an effective communication style who will advocate for the nursing staff, think broadly, and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, and other departments across the organization. The next CNO will proactively identify innovative strategies to improve quality, patient satisfaction, and nursing culture. A working knowledge of Magnet criteria is required.
