Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) seeks a strategic and distinguished executive to serve as its Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance in this newly formed role, created to drive high performance across operations in the second-largest health system in Massachusetts.

As a growing $7+ Billion health system with a network of administrative and operational services in a competitive market, it is critical for BILH to have access to accurate and timely financial information. Reporting to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance (SVP) functions as the senior executive responsible for corporate finance. This SVP will have executive oversight of accounting, payroll, accounts payable, financial planning and analysis, and revenue recognition for BILH and its subsidiaries. The incumbent is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing corporate-wide activities related to financial matters including general accounting, revenue recognition, internal and external financial reporting, and external audits.
In leading corporate finance, the SVP will establish systems and controls to safeguard the assets of the organization. She/he will support system growth through the integration of corporate finance across the enterprise including ensuring that the necessary processes and procedures are in place to align with the strategic direction of BILH. The SVP will establish accountability for priorities across corporate finance and provide system leadership with the necessary financial analytics, metrics, and dashboards to make informed decisions through the development of reporting capabilities and financial informational support.
Candidates should be viewed as highly credible and professional leaders with the ability to partner collaboratively across the system to enhance overall financial operations. She/he should be able to demonstrate an understanding and commitment to the mission and values of the System. Candidates are expected to possess significant financial leadership experience in healthcare, with at least ten years of progressively responsible financial experience. The successful candidate must possess the ability to work across a highly matrixed and growing organization. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required, as is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or a master’s in business administration (MBA).
