UW Health is searching for an exceptional individual to assume the inaugural role of Medical Director, Integrated Specialty Services for Women (Medical Director). Opening in the fall of 2024, Eastpark Medical Center will house two nationally recognized programs: Integrated Specialty Services for Women and Adult Oncology. It will include numerous specialty clinics, advanced imaging, laboratory services, and spaces for innovative clinical trials. The facility brings together a multidisciplinary team, state-of -the-art treatments, national research and clinical trials under one roof for a coordinated and seamless patient experience.
The Medical Director will provide oversight for medical and surgical services within the women’s specialty care environment. They will lead strategic growth and operational objectives across the UW Health system to manage women’s specialty care service delivery. The incumbant will collaborate with executive leadership on the further development of infrastructure, care delivery models, health system operations, workforce development, internal and external stakeholder partnerships, and incorporation of research into women’s health services.
Reporting to the Chief Clinical Officer of UW Health, the incoming Medical Director must be passionate about building clinical programs of distinction and the alignment of clinical services to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care, education, research, and community service. The Medical Director will demonstrate the ability to lead and function effectively in various matrixed relationships and reporting structures.
The successful candidate will be a Board Certified OBGYN with an outstanding record of accomplishments, who has served in progressive leadership positions at a leading academic medical center, or integrated delivery system and has an appreciation of academic medicine.
