Oakwood Village, located in Madison, Wisconsin, seeks an authentic, mission-driven, and highly visible leader to serve as its next Chief Operating Officer (COO). A leading provider of senior living and long-term care services, Oakwood offers a full continuum of care across two campuses—Prairie Ridge and University Woods. At both locations, Oakwood provides Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation Services, Memory Care, and additional support such as 24-hour staff availability, basic health monitoring, medication management, dining, housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance.
Reporting to the CEO, the COO will be responsible for clinical and non-clinical operations across the two campuses, as well as Culinary Services, Clinical Operations/Compliance, Capital Projects & Facilities, and Therapy & Rehabilitation. The COO will develop and implement policies and strategies that foster optimal efficiency and care delivery. In addition, the COO will support the organization’s ‘One Oakwood’ initiative and support efforts to create a seamless and consistent experience for residents across the full continuum of both campuses. The new leader will be a strong proponent of Oakwood’s resident-focused culture and lead the continued evolution of the organization’s culture to meet changing resident needs and demographics.
