Craig Hospital (Craig), based in Englewood, Colorado, is a world-renowned, independent, premier center for specialty neurorehabilitation and research for people with spinal cord injury and brain injury. Craig is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Neurorehabilitative Services (VP) to join their team.
Founded in 1907, Craig is a 350,000-square-foot, 88-bed, private, not-for-profit, national center of excellence with over 1,100 employees that provides a comprehensive system of inpatient and outpatient neurorehabilitation. Each year, hundreds of people from nearly every state in the United States and many other countries come to Craig to receive care and neurorehabilitation services, which have been ranked among the top rehabilitation hospitals in the nation for 36 consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report.
Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Craig, the VP will work closely and collaboratively with the executive leadership team and is an integral team member. The VP will be responsible for the strategic and operational planning for all Therapy Services, as well as staffing and directing personnel. In addition to providing direct oversight of therapy services, this leader coordinates several aspects of risk management in collaboration with various other executive-level functions and responsibilities. Working closely with the Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Hospital Services, these two leaders are jointly accountable for ensuring a seamless mechanism for providing quality care, resolving issues, orienting staff, and maintaining staff competency.
The ideal candidate will be an engaging and visible leader who inspires teams to work closely together toward a shared vision. This leader will be proactive, operationally focused, and results-oriented, with demonstrated success in achieving positive outcomes in complex, dynamic, and multifaceted environments. Notably, the VP will have successfully worked directly and collaborated with physicians and hospital leaders. A minimum of seven years of management experience in a clinical setting is required. Salary Range: $90.87/ Hour – $118.27/ Hour
