As a senior leader, the CMIO will collaborate with key leaders to develop the vision for how informatics and emerging technologies- including the latest advancements in agentic AI- can meaningfully transform care delivery, improve workflows, and drive research breakthroughs. The leader will partner with clinical, academic, and IT leaders across the School of Medicine and Health System to establish governance structures that balance innovation with high ethical standards, ensuring JHM remains at the forefront of healthcare advancements while never losing sight of its patient-centered values. A critical component of this work will be to drive optimization of clinical systems across JHM while seamlessly integrating new technologies and innovations to enhance the delivery of clinical care. Amid a rapidly accelerating pace of technological change and an ever-growing array of existing and emerging tools, this leader will play a critical role in prioritizing investments while expertly guiding change management efforts.

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $475,000-$525,000 annually, commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the industry.
