WittKieffer is excited to partner with Blessing Health in a nationwide search for a dynamic, distinguished executive to serve as its next Chief Nursing Officer. This is a unique opportunity to serve an institution that has been providing high quality care to the region for approximately 150 years.
Education/Certification
- A master’s degree in nursing is required and five years of progressive management experience in a comparable-sized health system.
- Certification in Nursing Administration to be obtained within two years of employment
Knowledge and Work Experience
- Knowledge of current leadership, management, and performance improvement concepts. Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve the delivery of care to patients. Knowledge of federal, state, and professional regulations that apply to the delivery of care. Demonstrated management skills: problem-solving, communication, human resources, and financial stewardship.
- Commitment to own educational growth. Supervisory experience in nursing administration in an acute care facility. Knowledge of current concepts for the delivery of patient care.
- A demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all constituents across the organization; the ability to function as a team leader and collaborative consensus builder.
- A contemporary knowledge of care delivery models, healthcare policy, and industry trends. An individual who keeps current with the profession and is active in professional organizations.
- A progressive, contemporary clinical leader who leads with confidence and can influence others across the organization without direct lines of authority, build consensus, and implement change.

Minimum base salary for this position is $235,000 and the maximum is $325,000 based on qualifications and years of experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and retirement benefits. This position is also eligible for the management bonus plan.
