Allina Health seeks a forward-thinking physician leader to serve as its next Vice President, Primary Care Clinical Service Line. This is a unique opportunity at one of the most respected healthcare institutions in the U.S. to lead and implement the vision, mission, and strategic clinical priorities of the Clinical Service Line. This leader will position Primary Care as a leader in innovative and integrative clinical services, which are regionally and nationally competitive for care excellence. The VP will ensure all programs support the mission and strategic objectives of the system. The VP has ultimate responsibility and accountability to ensure that programs and services delivered by team members are safe, timely, effective, efficient, patient-centered, and equitable.

The ideal candidate will bring clinical and operational strength to advance primary care, have a collaborative nature, and the acumen to work within this complex and matrixed organization. This leader will bring a depth of experience within a high-performing, high-volume delivery system. The successful candidate will bring broad executive leadership experience and will have well-established strategic, operational, management, communication, and interpersonal skills along with a genuine passion for care. An M.D. or D.O. degree is required, along with completion of an ACGME approved residency. An additional advanced degree in healthcare or a business-related field is preferred.

Estimated base salary range: $350,000 – $450,000 The base compensation will vary based on the selected candidate’s background.
