The Board of Directors seeks a strategic, relationship-driven executive to lead RCH into its next era of growth and innovation. The new CEO will collaborate closely with the Board to the develop and execute the organization’s long range strategic plan to include advancing the hospital’s mission, enhancing financial performance, and fostering strong physician alignment and clinical service expansion. A key priority will be driving operational efficiencies and revenue-enhancing strategies in response to the evolving healthcare landscape.
RCH has recently completed several major capital projects, including a state-of-the-art cancer center, a remodeled and expanded emergency department, and an upgraded surgical platform. These investments reflect the hospital’s commitment to providing cutting-edge care and an exceptional patient experience. With a skilled Board, committed leadership team, top-tier physicians, and a highly engaged, non-union workforce of over 1,700 dedicated staff, RCH is well-positioned for continued success.
As the current CEO prepares for retirement after 30 years, the incoming CEO will have an excellent track record of establishing high-trust partnerships with key stakeholders combined with a performance-driven approach to operational and financial stewardship. The ideal candidate will bring significant executive leadership experience in a competitive market, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams, cultivating physician partnerships, and delivering strong financial results. The CEO must be a visible, transparent, and approachable leader who is deeply invested in the hospital’s culture and community. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization are essential.

The base salary will be in the $676,000 – $810,000 range based on relevant experience and credentials. Additional compensation is offered in the form of annual incentive as well as deferred compensation program.
