Mid-America Transplant seeks an innovative, dynamic finance leader to serve as its next Chief Financial and Data Officer (CFO). Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, this position will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, taking one of the industry-leading Organ and Tissue Procurement Organizations into its next phase of growth and innovation. This is an exceptional opportunity with tremendous growth potential within a high-performing, mission-driven organization on solid financial footing. Mid-America Transplant is open to candidates with diverse backgrounds, and experience in organ procurement organizations or healthcare is not required.
Mid-America Transplant has served as the not-for-profit regional Organ and Tissue Procurement Organization for 4.7 million people living within a federally assigned territory inclusive of 84 counties located within Eastern Missouri, Southern Illinois, and Northeast Arkansas. Mid-America Transplant helps donor families through moments of grief and loss, supports transplant patients, and facilitates safe, reliable donations for transplant. Together with its partners—124 hospitals, four transplant centers, and several nonhospital referral institutions—Mid-America Transplant is working toward a brighter future where organs and tissues are always available to those in need. In 2023, Mid-America Transplant worked with 299 organ donors, resulting in 801 lifesaving organs and an additional 2,697 tissue donors, improving the quality of life for over 200,000 people.
The next CFO will have a strong blend of operational, strategic, and financial skill sets. This leader will leverage significant business acumen to support growth and related investments that will ensure Mid-America Transplant continually expands its impact and maintains its industry-leading place in the market.
