This individual will oversee strategic and operational direction for all supply chain functions for UW Health. The System VP Supply Chain & Support Services is a crucial role responsible for leading a staff spanning procurement, contracting, value analysis, materials management, reprocessing, culinary and clinical nutrition services, as well as biomedical services. The incoming System VP will bring a strong passion and vision for contemporary healthcare supply chain strategies and play a key role in cost containment and increasing efficiencies utilizing technology and best practices based on clear metrics.
The ideal candidate will bring considerable experience leading a wide breadth of supply chain management in an integrated health system or similarly complex organization. Candidates should possess at least seven years of experience of progressively responsible management level experience in supply chain and have the interpersonal, communication, and strategic skills to work collaboratively with peers, patients, faculty, and staff. A bachelor’s degree is required and a master’s degree is preferred.
