CalvertHealth, an independent, regional health system based in Prince Frederick, Maryland, seeks an operationally-talented, innovative, and collaborative leader as Senior Vice President, Operations (SVP). The SVP position represents an outstanding opportunity to join a community-focused, award-winning, and evolving health system. Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, Jeremy Bradford, this role will play a key role in advancing operational, clinical, quality, and service excellence for the system.

Along the way, the organization has grown, evolved, and expanded its services. For three consecutive years, CalvertHealth has been named one of America’s Top 100 Hospitals for Clinical Care by Healthgrades. Candidates with a track record of success functioning as innovative, operational leaders from within integrated, complex regional, or community health systems are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have demonstrated experience leading operational and strategic initiatives, as well as developing and implementing approaches to improving quality of care, operational effectiveness, and efficiency.
This leader must be comfortable in a matrixed management structure in which collaboration and working effectively across organizational structures is essential. The SVP will be an effective problem solver, influencer, and the key “go-to” resource for optimizing operational performance across CalvertHealth. They must excel at developing relationships, leading high-performing teams, and have a superb track record of developing collaborative partnerships with physician leaders. This individual will be expected to be an effective contributor to advancing employee engagement across all areas of responsibility and influence. Lastly, the SVP must be viewed as an energetic resource, bridge builder, and catalyst who effectively navigates within a complex healthcare setting to identify solutions, drive results, and effectively communicate operational priorities to others.
