Susan M. Snyder is an experienced business leader and trusted advisor focused on helping executives and their teams more capably and confidently navigate the complexities of their roles and the business challenges they face. Susan’s consulting expertise includes executive team alignment and development, culture definition and sustenance, M&A integration, CEO and executive succession, and executive development. She consults extensively with healthcare and life sciences organizations, as well as higher education and nonprofits focused on social impact.
Susan’s approach integrates her theological education, leadership experience, and organizational consulting background, and centers on fostering alignment between mission, strategy, leadership, and culture. Her approach enables others to ground on their purpose and gifts, so that they can move forward with calm strength: in essence, helping others to play the hands they’re dealt more effectively. Susan has coached multiple CEOs, including first-time CEOs and co-CEOs, often working with both them and their teams to support business transformation.
Prior to joining WittKieffer, Susan held various senior roles at Korn Ferry, which she joined through the Hay Group acquisition in 2015. At Korn Ferry, she most recently led the global offering of top team performance and the North American organizational strategy business.
Susan is a certified Hudson Institute executive coach and is accredited in multiple assessment and development methodologies. She is a published author and frequent speaker on leadership topics, often focused on top teams, succession (at the board, CEO, and executive levels), and culture. She is a member of the Board of Advisors of the New York chapter of Life Science Cares.
Susan is a member of WittKieffer’s Enterprise Leadership Team, where she is consistently energized and humbled by the experience of practicing what she preaches. In her personal time, she enjoys volunteering at her local food bank, mentoring, yoga, knitting, and spending time outdoors with her family.
